Hancheng River is located in Nanyang City, Henan Province and divided into the north and south area by the planned B3 Road. The north area mainly includes newly-built and under-construction residential areas and the south area mainly includes urban villages and industrial lands. The total land area is about 3.36 square kilometers and the river length is about 6.49 km. Hancheng River uses Emperor Guangwu of Han as the theme figure, Nanyang paintings in Han Dynasty as the theme culture and “Livable River” as the theme orientation. It integrates the Han culture into landscapes to form the Luyeshuian, Hanfengxieyi, Wanchengguyun and Guangwuyifeng area, sets up a plurality of landscape nodes, shows the Han Dynasty culture with paving patterns and lighting sketch styles and combines with the surrounding residential area to integrally build a ecological and livable river full of Han Dynasty culture.
